“The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.”

– Marcel Proust

Raised in an entrepreneurial environment, I’ve worked at the intersection of design and technology my entire career. While in college, I worked closely with father, to help him successfully build a green-tech company through to an IPO on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Since then, I’ve worked at startups my entire career. With 15 years of product & design leadership experience, I have a founder's mindset and I enjoy rolling up my sleeves - in whatever capacity required - to contribute to the company’s long-term success. The projects I've worked on have successfully raised over $50M in venture funding.

I’m a systems thinker who enjoys ambiguous problem spaces - relying on an iterative and data-informed design process to attain impactful, intuitive solutions. I have a hands-on leadership approach, dedicated to providing my team with the frameworks, processes, and guidance they need to deliver their best work. I am a practicing designer who still contributes to UI, UX, and Branding projects on a daily basis.

In my personal time, I enjoy working on art, playing music, sipping tea, doing yoga, and exploring the great outdoors with my family. I’ve exhibited artworks across North America, including an installation at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada. I hold an MFA in Product Design from Stanford University, a BFA in New Media from Ryerson University, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University.
